Internationally published, Amanda S. ( Aka @YourFavoriteHairstylist) has been on the professional scene since 2004.  Always having a passion for the industry, Amanda began her journey at the age of 14 duel enrolled in High School and Cosmetology School. In 2006 she became one of the youngest employee's working at Paul Mitchell the School, and eventually transferred and finished her cosmetology license there. For 2 years she remained at Lunatic Fringe Salon in Orlando, maintaining a Hair stylist & Management Position.

 

Amanda is no stranger to giving back. As the 2004 recipient of Walt Disney Worlds "Dreamer & Doer" Award for "Demonstrating excellence in her schools and community", She helped organize community affairs and participate in events such as: Disability Outreach, Site and Sole, Habitat for Humanity, Children's Miracle Network, Haircuts for the homeless, Ronald McDonald House, and more.

In January 2012 Amanda placed twice in the top 10 finalists for Sebastian's International What's Next Awards. She was flown to Berlin, Germany along with 10 other finalists from across the world, and won the competition in 1st place. This gave her the opportunity to experience her first New York Fashion Week for Mara Koffman.

The winning spree had just begun. In Sept 2012 Amanda won first place in Pravana's "Show Us Your Vivid's" Contest. December 2012, She was flown to L.A. for a once in a lifetime experience photoshoot with Shear Genius Winner Brig Van Osteen &  Modern Salon. Just a few years later September 2015 Amanda was nominated for North American Colorist of the year for Behind The Chair Magazine!​​ From there she has won National styling contests for Kenra professional, Matrix, Pravana & scored a coveted North American Hairstylist Awards( NAHA) Nomination.

She was named Internationally as one of the Top 25 Hairstylists under 25.

After opening Your Favorite Salon, Amanda created her very own Product & Hair Extension line "Your Favorite", a Luxury Brand catering to Blondes & Hair Extensions. 

Her expertise with Hair Extensions caught the eye of WWE & AEW superstar Wrestlers. Since 2020 her styles have been seen weekly on RAW, SMACKDOWN, NTX, AEW Pay-per-views & WrestleMania.
